First Wave of Signings

Andrew Kennedy

The Port Colborne Sailors are pleased to welcome back Andrew Kennedy, a hardworking and gritty forward, known for his relentless effort on the ice. Andrew’s journey through various levels of competitive hockey has showcased his dedication and versatility.

In the 2021-22 season, he continued his development with the Southern Tier Admirals U16 AAA, contributing 6 goals and 13 assists in 20 games, along with 2 goals and 4 assists in 8 playoff games.

He briefly played for the Southern Tier Admirals U18 AAA and the St. Catharines Falcons in the GOJHL before returning to the Southern Tier Admirals U18 AAA for the 2022-23 season. During this time, he recorded 5 goals and 12 assists in 32 games, and 4 goals and 2 assists in 6 playoff games. Additionally, he participated in the NAPHL 18U, scoring 4 goals in 4 games, and had a stint with the Welland Jr. Canadians.

In the 2023-24 season, Andrew joined the Port Colborne Sailors in the GOJHL, where he played 45 games, contributing 2 goals and 5 assists. His return to the Sailors brings experience, tenacity, and a strong work ethic, making him a valuable asset to the team as they strive for success in the upcoming season.

 

Lucas Cardiff-Bilodeau

The Port Colborne Sailors are thrilled to announce the return of fan-favorite goalie, Lucas Cardiff-Bilodeau. Known for his super athleticism and remarkable reflexes, Lucas has been a standout performer throughout his career. With notable stand-out games with 50+ saves his endurance and poise will be well needed this season.

In the 2021-22 season, Lucas joined the Burlington Eagles U16 AAA, recording a 3.36 GAA in 11 games, with a playoff GAA of 7.11 in 2 games. Despite the challenging season, his resilience and athletic prowess continued to shine.

He then played for the Welland Tigers U18 A in the 2022-23 season, before joining the Port Colborne Sailors in the GOJHL for the 2023-24 season. During this time, Lucas played 12 regular-season games, achieving a .894 save percentage with a 4.81 GAA. In the playoffs, he further demonstrated his capabilities with a .933 save percentage and a 3.00 GAA in a single game.

Lucas Cardiff-Bilodeau’s return to the Sailors brings not only his exceptional skills but also his determination and fan-favorite status. His athleticism and experience are expected to be key assets as the team aims for a successful season ahead.

 

Brody Coe

The Port Colborne Sailors are excited to announce the signing of Brody Coe, a big and skilled forward who brings a wealth of experience and talent to the team. Affiliated with the Erie Otters, Brody’s journey through various competitive leagues showcases his impressive capabilities on the ice.

He continued his development with the North Central Predators U18 AAA in the 2022-23 season, tallying 3 goals and 4 assists in 22 games, along with 2 goals and 3 assists in 5 playoff games. Brody also had a brief stint with the Penetang Kings in the PJCHL, contributing 2 assists in 2 games.

In the 2023-24 season, Brody played for the Fort Erie Meteors in the GOJHL, scoring 2 goals and 2 assists in 27 games. He then joined the Port Colborne Sailors, where he made an immediate impact with 5 goals and 6 assists in 16 games, adding 1 assist in 4 playoff games.

Brody Coe’s combination of size, skill, and experience makes him a valuable addition to the Sailors’ roster. His affiliation with the Erie Otters further underscores his potential and the promise he brings to the team as they aim for a successful season ahead.

 

Easton Lynds

The Port Colborne Sailors are excited to announce the signing of Easton Lynds, a talented forward who is reuniting with Coach Kevin Rosebrugh. Easton previously played under Coach Rosebrugh during his time with the Southern Tier Admirals AAA in the 2021-22 season.

Easton has shown significant growth and development throughout his career. In the 2022-23 season, he played for the Southern Tier Admirals U16 AAA, where he posted impressive stats with 37 games played, 16 goals, 17 assists, and a total of 33 points. His playoff performance was equally noteworthy, contributing 6 goals and 4 assists in 8 games.

In the 2023-24 season, Easton joined the Peterborough Petes U18 AAA, where he continued to excel, scoring 18 goals and 22 assists in 33 games, with an additional 5 goals and 3 assists in 10 playoff games. He also had a brief stint with the St. Catharines Falcons in the GOJHL, recording 2 goals in 2 regular-season games and participating in 8 playoff games.

With his solid track record and experience, Easton Lynds is poised to make a significant impact on the Port Colborne Sailors. His reunion with Coach Rosebrugh promises to bring an exciting dynamic to the team as they look forward to a successful season.
